Port Forwarding
Although eDiving has a few tricks it uses to establish connections when the host or the client are connecting to the internet through a gateway router, not all routers behave the same and some may need additional configuration to allow a connection to occur.

eDiving uses UDP ports 34174 -34180 for communication during a buddy dive.

To configure port forwarding on a router, go to the website, select your router model, and then choose the "Default Guide" option above the list of programs. Follow the instructions, in this guide using the information above. You need to forward all ports from 34174 to 34180, and if your router gives you a choice between "TCP" and "UDP" ports select "UDP".
