Mobile Dive Computer?

We have an App for that ;-)

DCT iPhone app - DiveNav

Going on a dive trip and forgot to take the dive computer manual with you?
Just completed a dive and wanted to know why your dive computer was beeping at you?

Don't worry ... we (almost) have an app for that :-)

Just take your iPod / iPhone / iPad; launch the DiveComputer app, and dive - no pun intended - into the online class of your dive computer ... wherever you are ... whenever you want.

Well ... almost.... you need an Internet connection too :-)

We have been working for quite some time on an iOS application for Dive Computers and we are now in the final stages of testing (or so I hope ...).

If everything goes well, soon you will be able to see your dive computer in action on your preferred Apple device.

r16 Simulator Released
Deathmatch mode

As anticipated in the April Newsletter we have been working for quite some time on a "Free for all Deathmatch" gaming mode and early this month with released r16 that includes this new mode.

Currently you can play in this mode only in the "Graveyard Deathmatch" site:
- When playing on a deathmatch site:
- The game will start once one other diver has joined your buddy dive.
- The number of times you die will be tracked.
- Whenever your death is caused by another diver that diver will get a point.
- Other divers will not be visible on the map or via the "Show Diver Names" toggle key.
- At the end of a 20 minute round, the diver with the most points wins!

Check on the server the r16 release notes.

Orientation Open Water 2
A NEW old site

You might have noticed that the Orientation Open Water site has been off-line for quite sometime.orientation open water 2

We have been working on a major update and now I am glad to report that this site is in full service again.

When diving this site, you will be met by your virtual instructor that will take you for a guided tour of the simulator and will show you quite few tricks.
While diving this site, you will also have a chance to see another instructor leading a team of advanced divers to their deep dive.
This site features also an online help; so, if you are confused, just press F1.
One more thing; there are plenty of Bubble Credits scattered around in this site.
If you became a member in the last 4 months, most likely you did not have the opportunity to dive this site and I recommend you go back to it to complete your virtual training.
Best Kept Secret :-)

An happy customer and an happy family .....
Rachel Wyatt, from Clarksville, IN, is the winner of the Cobra 3 contest and this is what she had to say about the Cobra 3 online class and the actual product:

"My 10 year old son and I began diving and became certified in October 2010, and my husband has been certified since he was 16. We trained with the Cobra 3 dive computers and found them very easy to read and use. We decided that we wanted our own computers that we would be familiar with, so we bought 3 of the Cobra 3 dive computers (so far) because they are so easy to read and use. We are diving with our 10 year old son, so it is very important to us that he be able to understand, read, and use the dive computer.
The three of us sat down and went through the online training course together. It was very easy to understand and helped all 3 of us understand and learn so much more about the computer and what it's capabilities are. Our 17 year old son is getting ready to start his diving course this summer, and we want him to have the advantage of having his own Cobra 3 dive computer also.
In my opinion, the Suunto Cobra 3 dive computer is a must have for divers of all experience levels!
